This page will prove invaluable - 14 August 2007.
Beware half truths - You may have the wrong half!
Dear future Doctor, Dentist, Physiotherapist or Health Professional,
By reading this important notice you will save yourself confusion and the strong possibility of a "Missed Entry" which results in another year being required to effect your successful entrance into the university course of your dreams. Here is truthful inside information.
Your performance in the UMAT will improve by developing the appropriate skills required for all 3 sections of the test. There are numerous ways to do this many of which involve auxiliary training and peripheral skill building exercises. It's like preparing for a marathon race. Training distances of varied lengths are run, weight training is included, correction nutrition is applied and the intensity of training is varied. You would not let any ignorant person fool you into thinking that you just run a marathon race every day - Of course not. The training is varied and multi dimensional. Numerous students have been misled by doing irrelevant drills which teach them little from first principles. Ask around. We have them come to us from other courses every year for retraining.
In general quality is directly proportional to the effort expended. It is easy to plagiarise hundreds of questions from third party sources without even getting permission from those parties. For example we checked one UMAT training provided and were stunned to see the extent of their doing this especially after claiming their materials are researched and of the highest quality. After deeper investigation we found literally hundreds of plagiarised and copied questions. What research and whose quality? Plagiarisation and copying can hardly be considered research. We use a special high level robot used by universities to examine our competitors materials which allows us to speak confidently about their abuse of third party materials. Just ask around as many students have demanded refunds after they have discovered "the inside information" much to their disappointment.
We surveyed our students and found that they complete on average 4.7 tests. The victory lies not in doing endless tests but in developing skills from first principles. This simply means "work" and lots of it.
Remember anyone can publish anything on the internet. This is dauntingly problematic for those seeking "the inside story" ie the facts. Subtly intimidating purchasers or swaying them away from competitors courses with propaganda and unethical notices is often used to draw attention away from shortcomings in their own products.
For example: Sign on one UMAT training providers website.
"Don't end up wasting money and more importantly being misled. Further knowing use of pirated material may mean prosecution. So please beware!"
We checked one UMAT training providers tests and were stunned to see the extent of their pirating material especially after claiming their materials are researched and of the highest quality.
Ask around as students know of this provider.
ICARUS College was the first Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Australia offering a nationally accredited course for UMAT.
Knockers
Have you ever heard of the "Fox and the grapes" in Aesop's fables? Briefly the fox cannot reach the grapes and eventually goes away sulking that the grapes are probably sour. We call these people "Knockers".
Sign on one UMAT training provider's website during 2006 and early 2007.
"There are numerous (about 5000) Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia and they are not exactly exclusive. To be an RTO Trainer Certificate IV is required, which can be obtained in five days in a TAFE! We believe having an RTO status is irrelevant, unnecessary and distracts from the main game, which is developing the skills in students to ace the UMAT."
Sign on the same UMAT training provider's website as of April 2007. (Drastically changed - We do not understand why?)
"We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and our UMAT courses are nationally accredited by the Government."
Does the UMAT training provider have something to hide in their history? Why the complete reversal of thought?
#Note. By going to this website you can freely check the history of all UMAT training providers.
Some UMAT training providers block their past notices which may be contradictory or shifting which may reveal the inconvenient truth about them.
CLICK here and type the UMAT provider's website address in the "waybackmachine" to check if their history is open to the public or hidden. Important information and controversial evidence can be concealed from the unsuspecting and unknowing public in this way.
Ethics
It is regrettable that both the college and myself personally have had to sue the Boyapati Family (our former students) and Medentry and Anzie Pty Ltd.
Ed Boyapati, it is unfortunate that the Boyapati Family/Medentry team, a UMAT training provider has sought to defame both the character and reputations of ICARUS College and myself.
I notice that the Boyapati Family/Medentry team has placed a sign alluding to my personal bankruptcy on their homepage? As it is on public record it may be legal but is it ethical Boyapati Family?
In 1999 my brother Paul passed away from cancer in March and my aged mother followed him in November on Armistice Day. It was a big year for me!
I collapsed financially from supporting my brother's family and you have sought to publish this bankruptcy notice on your homepage to "spread propaganda amongst my students"
What does my personal bankruptcy in 2000 have to do with UMAT and Interview Training? Nought! I have always refused to be less than the best at what I do. Doctors and Health Professionals know this widely and subsequently endorse our course. CLICK here for the facts not vague misleading postings.
How is it that given I was bankrupt from 2000 - 2003 you still sent your 2 children Ray and Ann to me for training in 2001 and 2003? Did they both "soar to success" and get into medicine? Did your daughter Ann send me personally a glowing testimonial thanking me for my course on 8 October 2003 at 4.18pm? CLICK here
I continue to get myriads of students into medicine as I did with your 2 children. Click HERE Bankruptcies have nought to do with my ability to get people into the courses of their choosing and were I penniless tomorrow I would be out there in my underwear doing what I do best and what I love!
I'm in education because I love it and am passionate about my students, Boyapati Family. I enjoy a modest living. I am not a full time intern (like your son Ray Boyapati), not a full time GP (like your wife Dr Nimi Boyapati), not a full time medical student (like your daughter Ann Boyapati at Monash Medical School), not a full time practice manager? I'm a full time teacher and qualified as well.
Speaking of education does even just one member of the Boyapati family/Medentry team have any teaching qualifications ie. Diploma of Teaching, Post Graduate Diploma of Tertiary Teaching and Learning, Bachelor of Education, Master of Education? A PhD in researching green house gases from tram emissions hardly rates as a teaching qualification? I believe most people migrate to Australia for our great education standards and training courses by credentialled qualified professionals. I believe that not having credentialled qualified professionals makes a mockery of our Australian Education system and we would soon become a third world country. Why did you and your wife migrate to Australia Ed? Did both you and your wife study at Australian universities after emigrating here from India? Were the courses taught by credentialled qualified professionals? I rest my case.
As you, your son Ray Boyapati and daughter Ann Boyapati travel around doing all the workshops may I see the teaching qualifications all three of you hold posted on your website so the paying public are aware of who is teaching them and their qualifications and merit to do so! I always place mine out in full public view so the public can enquire and ensure that they are not being conned.
Being a public family this should prove straightforward. Yes please Sahib!
And there can be no doubt you are a public family:

Go on Ann! I dare your courage to give them an interview. I like straight talk.

At the Boyapati medical clinic in Melbourne pay an extra $15 and you can see Dr Nimi Boyapati on time or for $30 you can jump the queue and bypass all the people who can't afford $30. Why do you fly an Australian flag at your medical clinic? Hit em in the pocket when they are down and sick! Come on Aussie come on! Let's hear a round of applause for the Hypocritic Oath. Hippocrates has gone fishing eh?
I was entertaining the idea of investing in a pogo stick to bypass some of those senior citizens but now for 30 buckeroos I can have my itchy septum examined and those senior citizens can just wait. Money is my God! I hope I never get old and sick and don't have any money as I will then be truly relying on the Hippocratic oath rather than the Hypocritc one. Of greater concern is my curiosity as to what I receive if I upsize to $40. A glass of water and a tissue comes to mind. As they say in that clichéd American movie an Officer and a Gentleman ? Way to go!

Don't worry about our dollar Ray. Interns have heaps of medicine to learn and trust me we won't become the laughing stock or white trash of Asia. Visit the immigration department sometime or our universities to see what and how many asians think of this country. Australia doesn't appear to be short of asians entering our country to my mind and having gotten here they don't appear to be in any haste to leave. Do they seek what their countries do not have to offer including a good education by credentialled qualified professionals? Your mother and father emigrated to Australia from asia and they are not laughing at us or calling us white trash. They remain here after having spawned you and your sister Ann over 20 years ago. Ray, if you come across any doctors facing poverty please tell them to apply here. CLICK here or send them over for some of my grandmother's tantalising pumpkin scones!
I feel a little confucioused!
"Man who enters water carnival optimistically bound to end up misty optically".
For my readers having difficulty with this profound adage please send in 30 pieces of silver or gold if you insist and we will respond to your queries first. For 40 pieces of silver we will deliver our written response by palanquin and include my grandmother's authentic ancient recipe for pumpkin scones. She bought it for 10 pieces of silver while traveling in Asia!
Boyapati family/Medentry team, don't forget to pop up those education teaching qualifications for the Boyapati family/Medentry team never mind the qualifications of a list of supposed consultants. They haven't taught any workshops to date! And please pop up what the consultants actually did or said with their signatures included ie the explicit facts not an implicit posting of a list of names which leaves us all guessing!
Click here and here for different examples of genuine explicit postings.
Readers,
Damn I love Australia and am so grateful for what we have. May I invite you to share that love and gratitude with me.
Being born and raised here in the early post war years I am only too familiar with the generosity and trustingness of our
compatriots. It hurts me greatly to see that trust and generosity abused in any manner.
