The UMAT Gold Clinic was very worthwhile in preparing me for the kind of pressure to expect in the UMAT exam by giving me experience at answering similar questions within the strict time limit. It gave me an idea of the time constraints under which you must work, how fast you must be able to cover the material and what types of questions you should be expecting.

Anyway, on the Thank You again - I trusted you and what you knew, I did what you said and it worked. Thank you. Thank you so much for everything - for telling me I could do it, for telling me I was an idiot when I was and for making me do the best job I could. Thank you for getting me into Medicine. I have no idea whether I could have done it without you but I highly doubt it. I went into UMAT knowing what was coming and I managed it ok. I know I could have done better in that, but that was down to me and the time I spent on it. But you got me there all the same and got me my interviews and after interview training, I actually knew what the interviews were about. I knew what they wanted to hear, gave it to them straight and I got in. You have no idea how good it felt to be going into an interview knowing what to expect and what to say and how much better it then felt to come and and know that I said the right things at the right times. Without you I wouldn't have had a clue whether what I'd said in my interviews was even vaguely near the mark. But obviously it was because you didn't just get me into med, you got me into med with choices.

Unfortunately I used other training materials unsuspectingly on my first attempt at UMAT. The materials I bought were a lot cheaper than your Gold prep but so were the results. As a result I had to repeat it with you ICARUS College.

I found your Gold preparation, teaching and training uniquely effective. As a first year law student I had almost given up hope on my dream after my shocking first experience with UMAT.

Anyone who is serious about getting into medicine is letting himself or herself down by not doing a Gold Clinic. Many aspects of the UMAT Gold course were particularly helpful to me.

The SUPERPKEENEYE computer program was much harder than the problems presented in the test itself, but this made the test a great deal easier for me. I found that all the example questions given meant that none of the questions on the UMAT test were a surprise. I knew how to answer each one. All in all, the UMAT Gold preparation course did just that, it prepared for the test. I knew exactly what was coming and how to deal with it.

Many people want to do medicine but few succeed in getting in. So what was different with my personal experience with ICARUS College? In my anxiousness and frustration I had previously not considered why only specific questions are asked at the interview and certainly not the intention and the appraisal my responses would reflect of me. 

The instructor worked with me to build a custom framework around which to gain an implicit understanding of what each medical school is looking for in a potential doctor. He persisted until we were both satisfied that my responses would impress that I was not merely a contender but someone who lived and breathed the medical profession's accepted mould of what is preferred to be a doctor.

With all due regard, I would not be studying medicine this year if I had not invested in his philosophies. Try him; you will certainly not be disappointed.

I attended one of your Melbourne Gold classes and I'd just like to let you know that I am due to study medicine at the University of Tasmania this year.

I studied Science at Melbourne University in 2003 and I knew that there are not many places for undergrad students in all of the Med Schools. So when I wasn't asked to attend any interviews during the summer, my hopes for 2004 were shattered.

Yet one morning I received a phone call from Tas Uni, and remembered that they didn't do interviews but require applicants to write a "Supporting Statement". I found the information regarding what Medical Schools were looking for most valuable. You managed to drill it into us uniquely yet effectively.

Since my UMAT marks weren't all that exceptional, I think that it was my Supporting Statement that landed me my 2nd round offer. I knew what they wanted to hear and I told them honestly the important stuff, getting straight to the point in three paragraphs to win all of my brownie points.

I was a student of yours last year (I went to your Gold classes). I'm just writing to let you know how I went. In the UMAT, I got percentiles of 93, 96 and 98 for the three sections (in order). I then went to quite a few interviews all over the country.

In the end, I got five first round offers for medicine at the universities of Adel, Melb, NSW, Qld and Tas. I chose the Uni of Melbourne since it's the closest to my home. I've already enrolled there. I'd like to thank you so much for all the help you gave me. I don't think I would've even passed the Umat stage without your classes and your materials.

Finally got into med  and having fun talking to the prospective students as well as the ones who made it into UWA as did I. I know of at least 3 people who are going to do your course because I told them to do it or else, and that figure is sure to grow as I get into contact with the vast ammount of people I talked to last year about the UMAT.

I am still waiting for someone to tap me on the shoulder and tell me this isn't happening, since not being in medicine has been something that has weighed down my heart for 4 years now. I believe the Gold course helped me a lot especially for section 2. Your speed reading techniques for section 1, helped me gain a definite advantage as you were correct in saying there is little time to finish. Your section 3 practise questions also gave me an advantage, when I got to section 3, I found myself spotting shapes very quickly. However your help on section 2 was the most helpful. You helped me understand what the examiners were looking for as an aswer, as well as the confidence to answer.

Dallas' Gold CLINIC allowed me to gain an insight into what the UMAT would actually be like. Consequently, when I actually went to sit the test, I knew what to expect in terms of the type of questions that would be asked. Extensive practice with questions about professional practice taught me, instead of just going with my gut reaction for a question, to carefully evaluate the implications of each option. in addition, the software which enabled practice for Section 3 - finding shapes amongst clutter - was invaluable. I had the opportunity to develop my own strategy for finding the shapes and, after spending ten minutes looking for the first one, I gradually improved so much that I could complete all the questions in the given time.

Attending Dallas' Gold CLINICS FOR UMAT is a great way to allay your fears about the UMAT and the medical interview, and to give you the confidence you need to get into he tuniversity of your choice. Before the course, I remember reading the sample questions in the UMAT booklet and calculating the probability of the improbable - passing the UMAT. I didn't know what to expect, but after Gold PREP I realized that familiarity with the type of questions is the key to exam sucess.

At first I didn't believe that I would pass the UMAT test and get what I wanted. Firstly I think that the ckinics helped me because of the vast number of questions that came with the Gold material were very similiar to those in the UMAT. This allowed me to be prepared for the type of questions that I would to face in the UMAT and gave me insight into the thought process that I shuld be undertaking.  Secondly, the SUPERKEENEYE software for sections 3 was immensely helpful in training my mind into attacking this section with ease.  The many different questions for both Type I and Type II were both fun and invaluable in enhancing my UMAT performance. When it came to exam day I was totally focussed on the task at hand and confident that I was well prepared due to Dallas' Supperprep clinics.

The SuperKeenEye program was good as it provided me with a lot of practice on how to find the shapes. Even in the actual paper where there was a mixture of different shapes I was still able to apply my skills which I had perfect through the program.  The tips on how to attack the shapes was also valuable as it prevented me from wasting me time on certain questions. 

The Gold notes on both first and second sections were really helpfull as it provided me with an insight on what the questions were looking at.  I was able to familiarise myself with the many questiions and I believe this exposure greatly assisted in achieving the marks required. Also through knowing what I would be required to do to complete the test successfully I was able to prepare effectively and efficiently.  With all the material given to me and the detailed instructions I was focused and knew exactly what I should do to increase my chance of success.

Why Gold UMAT helped me in UMAT:

The UMAT is not an exam which you can walk into blindfolded. It is important to understand the structure of the exam, style of questions and of course the examiner's tricks. Dallas's Gold course helped me walk into the exam room knowing exactly what I was walking into, and how to deal with it.

How is the clinic helped me:  

I believe that Dallas helped me to achieve a good mark in the UMAT  because of the skills and insight I gained under his tutelage.  First, his notes were incredibly useful to work through especially those concerning Section 2.  At the lectures given by Dallas, I found his comments insightful and to the point. One of the useful skills he taught us was reading quickly. I found that even though I didn't practise as much as was suggested, the skill I did pick up still aided me in the exam.  Also, the Section 3 software sent to us by Dallas was extremely useful to practise the spatial recognition skills we would need.

I have attended Mr. Dallas Gibson's Gold Clinic that he held in Sydney earlier this year. I was truly impressed by Mr. Gibson's extensive UMAT  preparatory notes, which I thought went into depths and details that no other UMAT preparatory organisations can offers. 

In his notes, he has extrapolated on each and every detail of the UMAT test, in each case explaining how the skills are tested and how each skill can be mastered.  In addition his notes included a vast collection of past UMAT questions for each section, with explained solutions. 

His clinics seemed outstanding, as he practically demonstrated the techniques used to master UMAT SKILLS, individually extrapolating on each section, on day 1.  On day 2, he explained the interview techniques that were required, when offered, after successfully achieving a good UMAT score. 

Overall, I personally think Mr. Gibson's Gold Clinic has helped me significantly for attaining a good UMAT  sore which has enabled me to obtain placement for oral assessment. I have no doubt that if there has ever been a Guru of UMAT, then its him!

Without a doubt, Dallas' GOLD CLINIC for UMAT aided me in obtaining a Medicine interview.  The crucial exercises that were run through during the clinic not only gave me a better idea of what to expect on the test, but a greater understanding of the qualities it is aimed at reflecting.

Practising past Section 2 questions openly was INVALUABLE  in preparing for the test.  The online practise software for Section 3 enabled me to get all but one of the shapes - a result that I believe strenthened by overall UMAT score and chance of obtaininng an interview.

Thank you, for the assistance in the GOLD CLINIC FOR UMAT, it gave me an insight into the UMAT  which I would never have known otherwise, and I believe this course went a long way to help me obtain interviews. The test was not as stressful  due to the clinic, as I knew more about how it was going to be set out along with some questions which I had seen through doing the course which where in the test.

The GOLD clinic also showed me the different responses that the test were looking for and the slight differences in wording can change the meaning of the response, to distinguish from a correct answer to the right answer.

I believe that the Gold Clinic for UMAT helped me gain an interview in seral ways. It familiarzed me with the format of the test and trained me to speed read the questions.

The practice with finding the hidden shapes in the Section 3 of the test helped greatly. It first took me ages to find each shape but with practice I was able to spot the shapes very quickly.  Learning about the format of the test helped in that I know my time restraints and thus was able to judge my speed well.  Thus I was able to fnish all questions within each time limit.

Dallas' GOLD UMAT Prep course had helped me enormously  with my preparation for UMAT because it provided very relevant materials containing questions and skills which were needed to master all 3 Sections of the test. 

He also introduced us to the method of speed-readong at the clinic and this method of reading had enabled me to finish the first two sections of the test ( which are reading rich ) one time.

Dallas' GOLD CLINIC for the UMAT  proved very helpful in passing the UMAT. 

The course was structured as to give a clear overview of the content of the exam, and gave the students and insight into the skills required to pass the examination.  Without the help of the course, the UMAT would have been difficult to pass, as I would not have been aware of what was expected.

In particular, the computer program used to prepare the students for the third section of the exam was extremely useful, as personally I found it rather difficult to identify the shapes in the puzzles. However, with practise, I gradually improved this skill, and I am almost certain that without the help of the program, I would not have passed the UMAT.  Therfore, I believe that the clinic thoroughly prepared me for the UAMT examination, and would strongly recommend it to any student wishing to sit the UMAT exam.

The GOLD UMAT PREPARATION COURSE certainly did help in my quest for a good score.  I think the thing that helped the most was simply the fact that I was able to see the types of questions before the exam, an advantage most didn't have.  

This especially applied to section three where the online tests were certainly of great benefit.  The way you presented the course allowed me to understand the rewiring of the questions.  In the end I was able to decipher what the question was really asking. I attended the UMAT PREPARATION COURSE held by Dallas in 2002 to assist me in my UMAT and help me approach any interviews ( I received as a result of success ) with confidence. I found that the course was useful in that it equipped me with tips on sitting the UMAT and the skills necessary to success.

On the first day of the course I was taught how to approach section 2 type questions in the appropriate manner, which was extremely useful.  It was surprising how little details would slip your mind and how simple it can be to pick the trick answer.

Dallas also demonstrated a method of quick reading, which increased my reading ability without reducing my comprehension levels.  This was not only useful for sitting the UMAT, but for everyday life.  On day two of the UMAT prep course, we focused on interview techniques, which taught  me a lot about how to prepare for interviews and appear confident.  This will be usedful in all aspects of my future and hopefull will allow me to continue with my success and receive a place in Dentistry!

The UMAT test is one of the most important tests that a prospective medical student as to undertake as it determines who will be selected for an interview. I believe that Dallas' Superprep Clinic for UMAT has helped me to achieve my best possible score.

After doing the Supeprep course, I became familiar with the types of questions that I would expect on the UMAT test.  This calmed my nerves on test day so that I can work to my full potential.  I think anyone who is serious about getting into a medicine course should undertake the Superprep CLINIC to better prepare themselves for this important test.

In the Section 1 of the UMAT  exam the questions require logical reasoning and can take time to complete and understand.  It is however  easy to take too much time and possibly not finish this section due to the thinking required.  The clinic prepared me for this section by ensuring that I read each question thoroughly and absorbed as much as possible in the minimum amount of time ( through a technique called speed reading ), thus allowing for me to answer each question in the 1.2 munutes required.

The Section 2 required communication skills, and the clinic helped me to identify what form of communication was required ( e.g. honesty, responsibility, professionalism etc. )

 Year 12 is an important year, especially if your're considering doing Medicine at University.  There are so many things to accomplish in year 12: a high standard of school work, a tertiary entrance ranking of at least 99 and the daunting task of doing well in the UMAT.  To help make my job easier I attended GOLD PREP CLINIC.  

The materials provided were excellent, feedback and support was great, and no doubt it gave me a colossal advantage over my peers.  It gave me an extra insight into the nature of the UMAT and I felt very confident about doing this all important test as I was more than prepared.

A number of people told me that UMAT preparation courses are useless when it comes to achieving a good UMAT score, well they were wrong.

The GOLD PREP CLINIC helped me gain confidence on what was going to be a scary ordeal, and I gained a lot of reassurance and self-confidence knowing that I had a professional guiding me through.

Dallas' GOLD CLINIC for UMAT was an invaluable help in attaining an interview at the university of Adelaide. I would never go into maths tests without practising similiar questions and this was exactly the same with the UMAT. The questions we were given to practice were helpful, as they were similiar to what was in the practice were helpful, as they were very similiar to what was in the test. The computer program on section three really helped me in an area I had difficulty with. Also coming from a small country schoolmeant that it was difficult to get assistance with finding out information about medicine in different states and the process that I was to go through to get into the course. The UMAT SUPERPREP course made a clear improvement in my ability on the UMAT test. The main advantage of attending the course as that I was able to gain a detailed idea of what the test was likely to be like. Many of the questions practiced in the course were virtually exactly the same on the test this year. By far the preparation for section B, the ethics section, was most helpful, understanding what the examiners are looking for in these questions made this section quite easy while others struggled through it. Reading skills and practice in comprehension helped in section A, relatively easy, the practice program increased my speed in finding the shapes and also prepared my train of thought for this section.

Not only did I feel confident and ready on the day, but I knew that the skills he had taught me would do more than help me pass.  The SUPERPREP CLINICS for the UMAT assisted me with the preparation for the UMAT by helping me understand the structure of the test, the nature of the questions and how to overcome hurdles such as time limits. The technique of 'dynamic reading' that was taught during the clinic helped with Section 1 of the UMAT. The fact that I was able to read each question clearly and carefully yet still quickly after practicing the 'dynamic reading' technique allowed me to use the allotted time well and complete Section 1 successfully.The need to select answers that focus on the problem and that have an underlying team approach.

The many examples of questions that would be on section 2 of the UMAT provided in the pre-course study materials and during the clinic familiarized me with how the questions would be set up and written. The GOLD CLINIC for UMAT was very helpful in assisting me gain an interview.  Prior to attending the SUPERPREP CLINIC I went to a one day course by a different provider. I found both to be beneficial but the SUPERPREP CLINIC was more realistic in approach. We felt completely comfortable with my attempt and knew I had prepared sufficiently to receive a high score.

Recently I received news that my instinct was indeed correct and I had been offered a time for an Oral Assessment { dentistry, Adelaide Uni}, to prove my ability in person.

After sitting the UMAT the first time without doing a prep course and failing miserably, I decided I had to do something, and Dallas' course was that something.  I sat the UMAT last year and did not recieve any interviews for Medicine. This year I seeked help form Dallas and I have recieved and interview for dentistry. However I do believe I had an advantage over those who had not recieved any help {like I had last year} because I had had practice at the questions and knew what answers the markers were looking for. Also for section 3 I knew the methods of solving the questions which I did not previously know, but the questions Dallas provided were a lot easier than the ones on the test. Overall, I really think that without the help of Dallas, I would not have been able to do well in the exam and am very thankful to Dallas for giving me his confidence. Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT helped me with the UMAT test by giving me beneficial overview of the structure of the paper, and example questions from each of the different parts of the test. On Dallas' advice, I developed an efficient reading technique which was well used during the intense and highly comprehension-based UMAT. Another useful feature of Dallas' prepatory clinic was the specific question types and the examples that he gave us. Numerous trial tests that we could run ourselves not only to test our understanding but to get into the habit of answering questions in a timed and controlled environment which is vital for suchy a high pressure test. After trying to get into a medical course fopr two years and not suceeding, I decided to give Dallas' clinic a go. Although my first two sections were okay I was poor at the spatial puzzles section on the UMAT. I had attempted UMAT previously in 2000, but was not successful in obtaining any interviews that year. Obviously, attending Dallas' clinic has had a positive impact on my approach to UMAT. Dallas' superprep clinics for UMAT helped me with my UMAT test and helped obtain me an interview for medicine at UNSW. He provided exam style questions, which I was able to practice many times over and therefore I wasn't stunned in the exam.  The Strategies he taught to use in the exam showing how the examiner saw the best answer was easily applicable during all sections.  

The online practice of the puzzle shapes was vital in memorising the shapes so they were imprinted in my mind and able to easily be retrieved from the puzzles even under time restraints.  He also prepared me for reading large amounts of information and extracting relevant parts in short periods of time.  All in all he provided a well-rounded and very useful course.

Thank you so much for your help in passing UAMT.  Before your Superprep clinic for UMAT, I had " patient's perception " of what doctor must be kind, sympathetic and placating.

However, as I had learned from UMAT clinic, I would never have passed UMAT with such " innocent "  attitude.  To Succeed in UMAT, one must be trained to give  " wanted ' answers, which not always coincide with our own   " correct answers " .

Dallas' Superprep clinic for the UMAT was particularly instrumental in helping me to achieve a UMAT score that enabled me to obtain an interview. For me, the benefit of being involved in the Superprep Clinic was two-fold:

Firstly, Dallas provided me with question papers based upon the actual test. This aspect was extremely beneficial as it enabled me to familiarise myself with the structure and content of the UMAT.

Secondly, with Dallas' guidance, both in the material be sent me and during the clinic, I was able to ascertain an insight into what the UMAT test designers were looking for and was provided with useful tips for tackling the test without Dallas' superprep clinic, I would have been unsure of what to expect in the UMAT, which I believe gave me an advantage over other candidates.

Before attending Dallas' UMAT Prep clinic I had not idea what to expect in the UMAT test. After the clinic, and with the help of all the materials from Dallas, I felt really prepared to take the test. 

The questions were really similar to Dallas's questions.  Also, the speed reading technique we learnt at the clinic really helped me to finish Section 1 within the time limit.  Without the super Keeneye program, I know I would've found Section 3 almost impossible, however, using the program allowed me to gain speed and find many of the shapes on the day. 

The fact that you know what to expect and can practise as much as you want is a real advantage - thanks again Dallas!

 I know that attending your clinics allowed me to obtain an interview, because I was aware of what to expect and how to approach the questions.  The notes and practice questions of sections 1 and 2, effectively showed how to answer the questions through giving exposure, awareness and practice of the test, whilst the worked solutions explained my mistakes, which helped me improved my understanding. 

Section 3 was a big help, from the hours of practice, but also the notes helped train the eye to find shapes in the quickest way. I found section 2 to be the biggest help, because it gave practice questions for each quality, which made it really easy to differetiate the best answer from the rest, and because of this, I scored the best here over all 3 sections. 

The notes for section 3 shapes helped to find the new shapes introduced this year, where I could apply the theory of dividing the other shapes in the best way, to these now ones. I usually find logical reasoning question hard, and therefore section 1 was the hardest of all 3 sections. But the solutions you have justified my mistakes, and how to think when answering these questions. I know that this course properly prepared me for UMAT because I was not confident for the test before I decided to attend the SUPERPREP CLINIC.

The high intensity of the training coupled with the new technique of reading really helped me to complete the UMAT test. With faster approcach to reading and the daily scanning of the newspaters, I was able to increase my reading rate and complete the first and second sectiones well.  Also, the comprehensions with the time limites helped.

In addition, the online puzzles were a great aid.  Before doing those practice puzzles, I actually couldn't even recognise the shapes in the UMAT information booklet.  With all this preparation together with the 2-day seminar, I was able to do well in the UMAT and consequently be offered an interview at University of Adelaide.

The valuable material given for Section 1 identified the exact techniques and skills candidates were requried to use in this section, the hints and practice prepared me very well for a secion I found difficult.

Discussions of questions for Section 2 in the test were extremely helpful as they aimed to develop the way one SHOULD think in such scenarios, I don't know where else they teach this! The work for Section 3 was by far the most helpful as it really trains and forces you to find the proverbial needle in the haystack.

By attending the Superprep clinics I was generally much more confident because the UMAT test questions were not new in the sense that I had develop means to tackle these questions before.  I think confidence was a crucial factor that day.

The UMAT Superprep clinic has increased my reading speed increasing  at which I complete the test allowing more time for the checking of my answers. 

It has also increased my comprehension and critical reading ability allowing me to see into the "true" meaning of the question.  The clinic gave me a confidence I did not have, getting rid of the pre-test "jitters" I had used to fall prey to. 

The process of answering the questions taught helped me eliminate the incorrect answers as I had alreadiy formed an answer of my own. The lectures gave me an insight into the type of personality preferred in a doctor which helped me in answering the section 2 questions.

The Superprep clinic run by Dallas Gibson has helped in many ways.

Firstly it has given me an overlook of the type of questions we are expected to get on the test, and after receiving the practice questions; I have been able to practice on all three sections of the UMAT. This has been the largest advantage since many of the other students would have only had a chance to look at the sample questions in the UMAT brochure, hence giving you an upper hand. 

Secondly the two day lecture program which was run in the holidays also assisted in giving us a chance to use dynamic reading, which saved me a lot of time on the UMAT since many people who did not attend the Superprep clinic didn't end up finishing the first and second section of the UMAT test. Also by being told how to look for the correct response in secion 2 of the test helped in narrowing down the possible options.

Lastly the computer run program for section 3 is terrific! The program greatly assisted me in section 3, by allowing me to have a lengthy time practicing on the questions and also to improve my speed in finding the answers for both type 3 and 4 puzzles.

Overall Dallas' Superprep clinic has helped greatly on the UMAT and without I don't think I would have been able to obtain an interview.

I believe that your Superprep clinic for UMAT helped me in a number of ways.  For section 1, by using your reading exercise I was able to increase my reading speed, which would have helped me finish section 1 as early as I did.  What would also have helped were the practise questions that I attempted. When I encountered their difficulty and time pressure, I made sure I worked fast during the UMAT and ended up finishing section 1 with 10 minutes to spare. 

For section 2, although I was not able to recognise many of the questions from your notes, I believe through the notes and your lecture I was able to see what kind of characteristics they were looking for in a ( would be ) doctor which helped me decide what answers to look for in section 2, your online program helped me a LOT in section 3, through practise I was soon getting the shapes online in about 20-30 seconds on average; and although I was not totally able to repeat quite that performance in the UMAT, the technique I had gained helped me get most of the shapes out, despite the 2 new ones.

I found Dallas' superprep clinic for UMAT invaluable in my preparation for the test delivering obviously excellent results as I obtained an interview.

The course was particularly helpful as it familiarised me with the UMAT structure and style of questions that in turn developed my confidence for the test day. For all 3 sections of the test Dallas course developed my understanding of the best ways to answer questions, ie; what skills to apply, particularly in the area of logic games and clinical profesionalism.

The information provided to all who attended Dallas' seminar has truly helped me in gaining these interviews at Monash and UWA.

The UMAT is not scary or even worrying after completing the many practice exams that I was provided with. It was just like doing yet another practice, except that it was the one that got me these interviews.  His teaching does not force you to lie whatsoever contrary to my expectation, but rather shows you the perspective form which the examiners are thinking and explains the logical way to go about such questions. 

I know for a fact that it has been this course that has helped me succeed, as from my school there were four people pursuing entrance into medicine school, I was the only one who attended this course and, yes, I am the only one with an interview instead of a " Sorry " letter. Dallas' Superprep clinic for UMAT is very dynamic, highly informative and most of all it really pushed me to the very limits. It has prepared me to handle the exam pressures, develop the speed needed to cover the whole paper and attack all the questions in real UMAT using the best, most effective technique that was drummed into my head in the seminar. 

The downloaded SUPERKEENEYE sofware is a very useful tool for me to tackle section 3, knowing that I am not a fast analyst.  Also, the training and practice in speed-reading has given me the advantage, the fact that I am not a fast reader. Best of all, I have a clear idea about what the examiners want to hear for section 2, and thus that saved me a lot of time and trouble in revision before the test. 

In addition, Dallas has been a wonderful and supportive coach, teacher and trainer, by giving unceasing advice, tips and guides.

Section 3 of the UMAT is a nightmare to many students; Dallas' UMAT preparation clinic is particularly helpful in section 3.  With numerous practices with sample questions, I have familiarized myself with both type 1 and type 2 questions. In the actual UMAT, there were only 3 questions in seciton 3 tht I cannot identify the shapes. 

The clinic has helped me to build my confidence before the test, and has secured me an interview with the university of Adelaide.

The Supeprep clinic for UMAT  has been invaluable.  Dallas teaches the skill essential for success in the logical reasoning section comprehensiably. 

I also discovered what it takes to be a doctor - empathy and discipline - which insured the best answer for section 2 was selected.  The SuperKeenEye software provided allowed me to practise the simple processes for success in the final verbal non-reasoning section of the test, that were learnt at Dallas' clinic.

For any prospective Med students who attend superprep,  I have one piece of advice- prepare your suit ready for the interview day!. Finally, I must add that the speed reading skills taught at the clinic are essential to complete the first section of UMAT, and to take as many practise tests as possible.

The Superprep clinic made me confident about the test, since it gave me an idea of what I was to expect, but more importantly, the clinic changed my outlook towards the UMAT test. Before the clinic, I felt as though I was against near impossible adds and that I was not at a standard that was needed to be successful.  The course made me feel positive about my abilities and that if I really was dedicated in pursuing a dental career; I would succeed.

The dynamic reading session helped me with the pace that was required to complete the test and hence get a satisfactory score.  The clinic also made me aware of the attributes that are essential to a health professional. This was needed in seciton 2, so that I could appropriately deal with certain scenarios that were presented.  The length of the clinic and the amount of work we did, also prepared me for the enduring length of the UMAT test.

The " Goldprep clinic for UMAT "  was very helpful as it gave me a chance to view the types of questions, and the preferred responses for each of the sections.  Without having any previous knowledge of what the UMAT test would be like, the clinic was useful as it gave me confidence, and prepared me with the skills that would me necessary in order to achieve a satisfactory mark. 

The notes, and practice examples which were given to us, as well as the various puzzles, were further helpful, in that they gave me a taste of the expected questions.ICARUS' extra help on information about specific universities and their various interviews, gave me extra confidence and helped me prepare myself for the scary, and often intimidating interviews that were to follow.

The Superprep course helped me do well in the UMAT exam and obtain an interview because it helped me focus on the specific qualities and charateristics that the UMAT exam is testing for.

The course helped me to recognise specific question types and styles and to subsequently apply specific solving strategies to them in a consistent way.

The practise material helped immeasurably so I became extremely familiar with question types, knowing what the "preferred" answers are, and there were morethan enough practise questions to use.

Thus I learn't to recognise the  " question behind the question ". The course also helped me to recoginise and focus on the skills I already have.  This and the course in itself helped me develop more confidence in myself to attempt the UMAT exam in and interview.

Although my UMAT test score was not high enough to granted an interview at Monash, my ENTER score did allow me to gain an interview there. Dispite this however, I still believe that Dallas' superprep clinic helped me greatly with the UMAT test.

Firstly, it gave me the opportunity to study for the UMAT and the knowledge my study would be benifical.  It seems absurd that students are taught to study for tests and yet we are told not to study for the UMAT test. 

Dallas' superprep clinic enabled me to prepare for the UMAT test and also to have the confidence that what I was learning was indeed useful.  The clinic taught me how to approach the UMAT test and gave me excellent advice about pacing and timing myself, as well as not stressing out.  Through the clinic I learned about what each section of the UMAT test contained and how to sutdy for each. I also gained great confidence for the section 3 ( the infamous shapes' section ) from the clinic.

Superprep course helped me pass the UMAT in the following ways:

I learnt how to read much faster and comprehend what I was reading. This helped me finish section 1 without being too fatigued to handle the next 2 sections.  ( At the end of this section were simple visual puzzles which were good to skip to when I needed to reduce the monotony of section 1 . Also being able to answer these visual puzzles easily was psychologically boosting )

Your practise tests for section 1 helped me prepare as I knew what to expect when I sat the UAMT. 

The logic puzzles and " prep " material on the different types of puzzles were able to put my mind into the right thought processes in order to comfortably digest information from the UMAT questions.

Section 2 training helped immensely in that I learnt what being  "professional "  meant. Learning how to deduce the " required " answer on the UMAT meant that I didn't waste time and could finish the section easily. Without your training materials, I would have failed this seciton because I would not have known what to look for.

Learing the fifferent types of questions from section 2 was useful because I also learnt about the qualities the interviewers are interested in.

The section 3 training program was an enormous help to me, without it I would not have been able to find any of the shapes.  The written material for section 3 was very clever in the way it simplified how to find the shapes.  It was from these basic priciples that I was able to find the new shapes  that had been introduced into the exam. If I had not read the written material on section 3, I would have panicked and been unable to find the new shapes introduced this year.

It prepared me for what I was up against. It gave the foresight to finish section 3 by doing the questions relatively quickly.

For section 2, the prep course gave me basic rules to pick an answer           ( provided the options, let the patient decide ). It helped me to find some shapes in section 3 in less than 5 mins ( my previous trails ). The prep course definitely gave me some clues as to what the interview is going to be like. 

The prep course made me feel more confident as I know what I was expecting, then in the exam I felt more confident with my answers.

The Superprep clinics run by Dallas Gibbson provided a strong basis for my understanding for the type of questions and an insight into the psychology behind the questions.

This enabled me to pick the suggested answer from the all seemingly correct multiple-choice options.  the discussion of past UMAT questions during the prep clinic was especially helpful.  Dallas' structure and well-researched clinics covered all aspects of the UMAT, from the logical reasoning and problem solving to the non-verbal reasoning, thus providing students with breadth and insight and into the idealogy behind the quesitons.  The lead -in discussions stimulated by Dallas formed the basis for me the encouragement of the participation of students during the sessions.

 I am sure that my fellow students who attended the prep clinics held by Dallas are equally as grateful of his sharing of knowledge and insight into the UMAT, paving the way to the student's bright future!

This course rally helped in the way it developed my reading skills in preparation for section 1.  Without the emphasis on speed reading, I would certainly have completed less than what I did on the UMAT day ( I managed to complete 37/40 problems, which although not great, is passable ).

Furthermore, I strongly felt that Dallas' radical way of finding situations to illustrate key concepts in section 2 ( such as professionalism and honesty ) benefited me on the day. Part of the reason why I got so much out of the course was due to the fact that you set " work preparation " before attending the sessions, which meant that I come to the UMAT test  knowing what to expect.

Lastly, the direct, sometimes blunt way you emphasised key points in all the sections clearly made it easier for relevant points to stick in my memory.

The most helpful part of Dallas' clinic is the section 3.

I found all the shapes in section 3 of the UMAT test mainly because of it.  Dallas' preparation for section 2 is also helpful in that it gives me an idea of what to expect and this makes me feel more confident during the test condition. 

The preparation for seciton 2 is not helpful for me.  Dallas spent a lot of time in his clinic on speed reading, something I  could do reasonably well already.  The notes we got from Dallas for section one is rather different from the actual test.

I think I probably would have got an interview anyway if I didn't attend Dallas' clinic, but attending Dallas' clinic definitely gives students some edge in UMAT. 

Overall, Dallas' clinic is worth it for me because its prepartions for section 3 and the interview are SUPERB.

I felt that the most outstanding feature of the Superprep clinics is the extensive amount of questions provided.

Being aware of the style of questions made it so much easier to answer. I was immediately able to eliminate obviously in-correct, as well as, "donkey" answers to give me a much better probability of choosing the right answer.

The understanding I gained of the different types of questions and how to approach them was also a fantastic help.  As soon as I saw the logic game, I skipped it, without worry, coming back to it at the end, when I know I had time to produce what I believe was the best answer.

The interactive superkeeneye was also FANTASTIC! In the UMAT I managed ALL type of the puzzles. ( I don't know what those new questions were ?? - another challenge for you Dallas!! )

I only found out about the Superprep a few weeks before the test date and so I didn't have much time to practice speed reading. During the course I found Dallas's method  very good and I was starting to pick it up by the end of the second day.  Even though I don't think I used it effectively in the exam, I am sure it would work, given the appropriate time and practice, due to the improvement I saw in myself in only a few days.

All round, I think Superprep is a great package.

Dallas' Superprep has assisted me greatly to prepare for the UMAT test. He has provided a very detailed set of notes that offer the theory with many practice exercises. This allowed me to be more familiar with the questions. Also, the program SuperKeenEye helped me to recognise shapes in Section 3 of the UMAT.

In the 2 day, Dallas provides an interactive learning environment and allows practice in class.  Dallas will stay until all questions have been answered regardless of time, so that all uncertainties can be solved. The clinic helped me gain an interview by placing me in a competitively high position rank-wise. 

In the section 1 of the UMAT exam the questions require logical reasoning and can take time to complete and understand.  It is however easy to take too much time and possibly not finish this sectiondue to the thinking required.  The cllinic prepared me for this section by ensuring that I read each question thoroughly and absorbed as much as possible inthe minimum  amount of time ( through a technique called speed reading ), thus allowing for me to answer each question in the 1.2 minutes required.

The section 2 required communication skills, and the clinic helped me to identify what form of communication was required ( e.g. honesty, responsibility, professionalism etc. )

Finally the section 3  required visual and special skills.  The clinic helped me in this area by ensuring that I had the practise necessary ( this section can be improved on through practise ). Additional material was provided so that  I was able practise the types of questions that existed in the section 3.

If you really want to get into Medicine, you're crazy if you don't take one of Dallas courses.

He offers genuine, realistic advice on every aspect of entry into Medicine and expert  tips & exercises to prepare you for the UMAT. Best of all, his assistance does'nt stop after the 2 days of the course. He's always available to have a chat & give you additional advice for your circumstances.

I went into Dallas' Superprep clinic with no idea what the UMAT consisted of or how to even tackle it.  However " superprep clinic " motivated me to work hard for my UMAT. Otherwise I would have left everything to the last minute. Year 12 is an important year, especially if you're considering doing Medicine at University. There are so many things to accomplish in year 12 : a high standard of school work, a tertiary entrance ranking of at least 99 and the daunting task of doing well in the UMAT. 

To help make my job easier I attended Dallas' UMAT superprep clinic.  The materials provided by Dallas were excellent, his feedback and support was great, and no doubt it gave me a colossal advantage over my peers.  It gave me an extra insight into the nature of the UMAT and I felt very confident about doing this all important test, I was more then  prepared.  When the day came, the competition crumbled at my feet, I soared past the three sections with ease.  The difference between me and those  were not enroll to Dallas' course that  I came out of the examination room with a smile on my face, instead of tears.

The clinic for the UMAT assisted me with preparation for the UMAT by helping me to understand the structure of the test, the nature of the questions and how to overcome hurdles such as time limits.  The technique of " dynamic reading " that was taught during the clinic helped with Section 1 of the UMAT.

The fact that I was able to read each question clearly and carefully yet still quickly after practicing the " dynamic reading " technique allowed me to use the allotted time well and complete Section 1.  The clinic covered the nature  of the questions of Section 2 of the test,  explaining the need to select answers that focus on the problem and that have an underlying team approach.

The many examples of questions that  would be on Section 2 of the UMAT provided in the pre-course study materials and during the clinic familiarized me with how the questions would be set up and written. 

The Superkeeneye spatial software training program for Section 3 of the UMAT was invaluable with preparation for this section. The explanation of the difference between type 1 questions and type 2 questions, the approach to solving the patterns and the recommendation of using the  " elimination strategy " helped me to understand how to tackle the questions.  When placed together, the techniques and strategies taught for each section of the UMAT during the clinic assisted me to do well in the UMAT and hence obtain an interview.

Prior to attending the Superprep clinic I went to a one day course run by a different provider.  I found both to be beneficial but the Superprep clinic was more realistic in approach.  We were told exactly what to expect, and were made ready for anything! upon finishing UMAT  I felt completed comfortable with me attempt and knew I had prepared sufficiently to receive a high score.

Recently I received news that my instinct was indeed correct and I have offered a time for an Oral Assessment ( Dentistry, Adelaide Uni ), to prove my ability in person.

Without attending the Superprep clinic I have NO DOUBT that my UMAT score would not have been of a high enough standard to receive an offer.  I find this quite ironic due to the fact the ACER does not endorse preparation courses. 

Oh my gosh, I just don't know where to start.  Dallas' UMAT course is execellent.  It's the best money,  I've ever put towards my future. 

After sitting the UMAT  for the first time without doing a prep course and failing out miserable, I decided I had to do something, and Dalla's course was that something.  The hundreds of practice questions, for both section 1 and section 2 got me used to answering the type and style of questions that would me asked me on the UMAT, but it was the visual software for section 3 that really helped me. 

I think that the software alone is worth every cent you pay for this course.  Dallas is amazingly good at what he does, which is shown through his enthusiasm to for you to succeed at your dream.

The techniques we learnt for Sections 1 & 3 were extremely helpful and imperative for completing those sections in the UMAT test successfully.  The practice questions we were exposed to for section 2 were extremely useful and also prepared us well for that section in the test.

The Superprep clinic helped me know exactly what to expect in the UMAT test.  During the discussion of the types of questions that were going to be asked and more importantly the answers that were required really shocked me sometimes and were not at all what I expected.  Going into the test with that knowledge under my belt really helped me know what was coming and be ready for it.  I know that I would have answered a lot of questions very differently if I hadn't gone to the clinic.

Also the reading skills that Dallas gave me made funishing the test a lot easier.  Before I went to the clinic I couldn't finish a test section but thanks to going I got through all the sections with time to spare.  The faster reading style definitely picked me up a couple of marks. 

I think the best thing about Dallas' superprep courses, is that you walk into the UMAT feeling prepared. 

You know more about the layout and structure of the UMAT than over three-quarters of the people there, and that gives you such a confidence boost!! So many of the questions from Section 2  are questions which you have gone over during the 2 day course and it is so good to see something you recognise and know how to answer!!

For the questions that are different, you know how to tackle them and how they want you to answer.  ( Yes Dallas, a doctor' offers options' !!! ) For these reasons and so many more, I'd recommend anyone seriously considering medicine/dentistry/health sciences to enroll in a superprep course.

The UMAT superprep course made a clear improvement in my ability on the UMAT test.  The main advantage of attending the course was that I was able to gain a detailed idea of what the test is likely to be like.

By far the preparation for Section 2, the ethics section, was the most helpful, understanding what the examiners are looking for in these questions made this section quite easy while others struggled through it. 

Reading skills and practice in comprehension helped in Section 1, especially in finishing this section in time.  While Section 3, the visual section, was relatively easy, the practice program increased my speed in finding the shapes and also prepared my train of thought for this section.

Dallas' clinic for UMAT helped me achieve a greater understanding of what to expect in the test.  Not only did I feel confident and ready on the day, but I know that the skills he had taught us would do more than help me pass.

Speedreading, looking for key-words, breaking down the questions and recognising the type and purpose of the questions ( especially in section 1 ) are only some of the skills I had on the day.  Dallas also gave me the opportunity to practice the extremely hard section 3 through a program he devised and sent all his students I was able to find all the shapes!

I am certain that without Dallas' help Iould have had some trouble dealing with the test, instead I felt confident as I knew what to expect. Dallas' numerous practice tests were more than helpful and I had a background knowledge and an experience of the test questions.

I believe Dallas' clinic helped me with my UMAT test and gave me an opportunity to pass the test and practice MEDICNE without stress and hassle.

The PREP SKILLS course helped me do well in the UMAT exam and obtain an interview because it helped me focus on the specific qualities and characteristics that the UMAT exam is testing for.

The course helped me recognise specific question types and styles and to subsequently apply specific solving strategies to solve them in a consistent way. The practise materials helped immeasurably so I became extremely familiar with the question types, know what the "preferred" answers are, and there were more than enough practice questions to use.

Thus I learnt to recognise the "question behind the question!" The course also helped me to recognise and focus on the skills I already have. This and the course in itself helped me developed more confidence in myself to attempt the UMAT exam and interview.

I honestly believe that without the course I would not have done well enough on the exam to be invited for an interview. 

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT helped me with my UMAT test and in obtaining my interview by firstly showing me what to expect on the day of test.

I found questions especially helpful. These definitely helped me improve my answers. The program that was sent to me via email regarding the third section of the test was perhaps the most helpful of all as I felt I answered all question after my hours of practice. 

I attempted the UMAT in 2000 and failed to obtain barely respectable results, especially in the second section. This year was my second attempt at the UMAT, but this time I recieved help from Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINICS for UMAT. Section one and section three I could manage beforehand, but what Dallas really helped me with was section two.

I realised I had totally seen the questions from the wrong perspective. Dallas helped me to learn how to approach these questions and most importantly, I began to realise what the selecting panel's ideas were.

This course really helped me in the way it developed my reading skills in preparation for section one. Without the emphasis on speed reading, I would certainly have completed less than what I did on the day of the UMAT! {I managed to complete 37 out of 40 problems which although not great is passable}.

Furthermore, I strongly felt that your radical way of finding situations to illustrate key concepts in section two {such as professionalism and honestly}benefited me on the day. Part of the reason why I got so much out of the course was due to the fact that you set work preparation before attending the sessions, which meant that I come to the course knowing what to expect.

Lastly the direct, sometimes blunt way you emphasised key points in all the sections clearly made it easier for relevant points to stick in my memory.

It prepared me for what what I was up against. It gave me the forsesight to finish section three by doing questions relatively quickly.

For section two, the prep course gave me basic rules to pick up an answer {provide the options, let the patient decide} it helped me to find some shapes in section three in less then five minutes {my previous trials}.

The prep course definately gave me some clues as what the interview is going to be like. The prep course made me feel more confident as I knew what I was expecting, then, in the exam I felt more confident with my answers. 

1. Being able to work through example problems for section 2 was a great help in understanding what attitudes were looked for.

2. Dallas pushed us out of our comfort zones and made us work far more efficiently and diligently which was a great help for section 1, which was reading rich.

3. The SUPERKEENEYE spatial software was fantastic practice for section three.

4. Knowing the ambiguities and sort after information from interview questions will no doubt secure my seat in medicine.

5. All the little gestures associated with presentation in the interview also allows us to correct habits that may be costly under the scrutiny of the interviewing panel.

6. Dallas also helped to dispel myths that many inexperienced school leavers may believe especially in terms of things always being fair and equal, which is a huge misconception a lot of naive people have.

It helped us to realise that the interviewers will try every trick in the book in order to dismiss your eligibility. 

A number of people told me that UMAT preparation courses are useless when it come to achieving a good UMAT score, well they were wrong.

When I enrolled for the SUPERPREP CLINIC I was hesitant at first. How can someone teach me everything there is to know about the UMAT when the information about the types of questions is so limited? But, nonetheless I decided to go, what was there to loose?

On the first day of the clinic all my bad thoughts were dispelled! Over the next 2 days I would learn every intricate detail of the UMAT, how to approach the interview {by that stage we all knew we would pass the UMAT in some shape or form} and what frame of thinking we should have about the whole process.

I can honestly say, that without Dallas' guidance, "crazy" teaching method and support, there would have been no way in the world I would have passed the UMAT.

The section of notes that aided me the most were of section 3. These notes with the combination of practice examples on his website helped me score in the 82nd percentile for the section.

I thought the notes for section 1 of the exam were not totally relevant this year as there seemed to be many different questions of varying types, yet, as I was thorough with them, I felt confident enough to take control of the section and to ensure I answered all the questions.

The SUPERPREP program has helped me by giving me an insight into the UMAT. The notes provided a detailed summary of each of the three sections of the UMAT.

Thus, I had the chance to practice certain questions and this really helped in my preparation. The course also offered a talk on the UMAT. The talk gave me the first insight and helped us face what was expected of me in the UMAT. Thus, the SUPERPREP course has helped me in my preparation.

What can one say about Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC? It's phenomenal! Walking into the clinic on the first morning was nerve-racking as I had no idea what to expect out of the course.

After two exhausting days of Dallas' training I walked out confident that I could suceed in the UMAT. With the help of Dallas' test prep materials and his amazing SUPERKEEN EYE software I felt completely in control and didn't have to worry about not knowing the best way to answer questions.

The thought of doing the UMAT was really daunting as it represented another major exam along with the rest of my year twelve ones and what was most efficient about it was that I didn't even know what to study for.

As a student in middle of year 12 that was more determined than anything to do Medicine, I found the UMAT extremely daunting. As my sister had attempted it and 'failed' miserably two years before, I believed I was destined for another course which I would then do it the 'Post-grad' way.

However, after reading about Dallas' course in ' The Australian', I promptly signed up for his seminar. I am a firm believer that it is one of the single greatest things I have ever done. After reading through his notes and listening intently for the two days, I was an entirely different person walking into the UMAT than my sister had been two years before.

I received a score of 99 for section 3{spatial puzzles}. In fact, I was surprised that I didn't get 100. I owe this success [and confidence} to the SUPERKEENEYE software. Through practicing the spatial questions in the software I accomplished two things.

Firstly I was able to familiarise myself with the shapes that I was looking for. It enabled my mind to be turned into the shapes and patterns displayed, without turning up on exam day and looking at them like a foreign launguage.

Secondly, through continual use of the software, I formulated my own method to such an extent that I finished this section in 15 minutes.

When you look at the spatial puzzles for the first time, finding the shape is like searching for a needle in a hay-stack.. look at them for the umpteenth time, and you'll spot the shapes in seconds. 

The UMAT looked to be a daunting task. I was doing well in school but I was extremely worried about the UMAT, as it wasn't something we could study for {in terms of content}. While I was at the MONASH open day, some one handed me a small piece of paper saying, "DO you want UMAT help?" I though.... YES! I didn't do anything until the next year, but when the website came up, I was amazed at what the SUPERPREP had to offer.

When I turned up to the clinics, they were nothing like I expected. We were shown how to go about different sections in a way none of us expected. I think many of us had our doubts about the methods worked.

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT most definately helped me with the UMAT and without it I would not have been offered an interview. Like many others, I was told that the UMAT simply tested your IQ and there was nothing you could do to prepare yourself; either you were made for it or you weren't.

However, Dallas' clinic enabled me to feel comfortable with what was going to be in the UMAT, and DID prepare me for it. It gave me the edge over others sitting the test, and confidence to be able to get through it.

The UMAT can't be studied for I was told upon applying for the examination. It tests your IQ which is composed of such things as reading/comprehension, spatial abiliy and extensive, the most insightful and most importantly the most accurate UMAT preparatory workshop available.

Dallas opened my mind to the competition of medicine and enabled me to embrace the challenge. This insight on the UMAT allowed me to tackle difficult questions with ease and confidence.

The course materials provided throughout the seminar certainly helped me to broaden my knowledge to successfully complete the test. I am confident that I will be able to face the interview even better and the challenges ahead of me in the medical career. 

Hello my name is Pete Walsh. In July of this year I attended Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT.

The clinic was great and covered all aspects of the UMAT tests as well as looking at the interview.

Subesequent to sitting the first round interview for entry into medicine at UWA.

The SUPERPREP CLINIC is excellent peparation and certainly contributed significantly to my success.  

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC provided me with a comprehensive overview of the testing process for UMAT. This gave me the opportunity to practice question types that would appear in UMAT and a confidence in my own approach to the test.

By having the security of knowing the question types, I was able to concerntrate on fine-turning my skills and was able to enter the testing centre relaxed, and prepared.

Since time-management plays such a crucial role in UMAT testing, the SUPERPREP CLINIC focussed my attention on the need for speed-reading and allowed me to finish with time to revise my answers.

The software provided was particularly useful for section three which was my greatest weakness.

The clinic certainly assisted me in obtaining an interview for medicine. 

I actually missed out on the two days of prep work in the holidays, but the material which was sent over email, was quite good.

Section one helped in the logical questions involving the mechanics of life and social logic. The questions in the UMAT had changed a lot though but generally the concepts were still the same.

The advice on the speed reading and examination techniques and memory was what helped the most.  The most impressive thing was the program for the shapes in section three.

Eventhough the UMAT had some different shapes and had a smaller size, the practise of looking for the shapes really helped. It also helped train metal agility, which was critical for section one. 

With practice Dallas' method of reading increased my speed from around 200 words a minute to possibly 500 words a minute and more. Two out  of three sections require extended amounts of reading; so reading fast was evidently vital for completing and excelling in the UMAT.

The KEENEYE program for section three was infinitely helpful. I believe that some people have the natural ability to isolate a single shape from an overwhelming collection of lines, but others like me do not, suffering a disadvantage.

Dallas' program taught me a way to respond to that section differently, and as a result I was able to answer all the questions in section three.

Thirdly, with Dallas' help, I also gained more confidence and felt less alone.

Attending Dallas' CLINIC made me realise that the UMAT is not purely an 'IQ' and 'personality' test to see someone's natural abilities.

One can definately be trained to excel in the UMAT, and Dallas' CLINIC offers this opportunity.  

Dallas' SUPERPREP was actually the thing that got me my interview! I went for two days in the holidays and met loads of people who, like me, learnt so much about how to prepare menatlly and emotionally for this huge test.

Dallas taught me how to 'read' and not to selct the 'donkey answers'. It wasn't easy, I still made mistakes and I'm sure my UMAT score was not perfect, but it is definately heaps better because of the encouragement that Dallas gave me.

The practice sessions on the computer for section 3 were a lifesaver!

Before going to Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT I had little idea what to expect from the UMAT, let alone what was in the UMAT but Dallas' experience and help with the UMAT made a seemingly impossible task into a more manageable, achievable task that could be done.

Dallas' approach to section three was particularly helpful as it helped familiarise me with different shapes.

Before attending Dallas' clinics, I had little to no idea how to answer section two questions but Dallas' approach helped me in choosing the more appropiate questions.

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINICS for UMAT helped me with my UMAT test and helped obtained me an interview for medicine at UNSW.

Dallas provided exam style questions, which I was able to practice many times over and therefore I wasn't stunned in the exam. The strategies he taught to use in the exam showing how the examiner saw the best answer was easily applicable during all sections.

The online practice of the puzzle shapes was vital in memorising the shapes so they were imprinted in my mind and able to easily be retrieved from the puzzles even under time restraints.

He also prepared me for reading large amounts of information and extracting relevant parts in short periods of time.

All in all he provided a well-rounded and very useful course. 

The SUPERPREP ideas is fantastic, and it is not so much about being given the answers, rather that Dallas teaches you about the method to approach each different type of question. It is such an advantage being able to go into the UMAT with a sound knowledge of exactly what to expect.

Once I did all his practice questions I could see a big improvement. The classes are really helpful as well, if you can put up with Dallas for two days, he will teach you everything you need to know, and give you a huge edge over the rest of the competition.

I know that I can attribute my interview offer to Dallas' pre paration. 

The SUPERPREP UMAT course provided me with a good knowledge of the UMAT test.

The examples shown by Dallas helped me to attack the questions and gave me a good foundation to answer many of the questions at the real examination.

Thankyou so much for your help in passing UMAT.

Before your SUPERPREP CLINIC for UMAT, I had "patient's perception" of what doctor must be. That is I believed, that doctors must be kind, sympathetic and placating.

However, as I had learned from UMAT clinic, I would never have passed the UMAT with such "innocent" attitude.

To succeed on UMAT, one must always be trained to give "wanted" answers, which not always conincide with our own "correct answers."

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINCI for UMAT taught me also to be more confident, that medicine is what I want to study in university.

SUPERPREP CLINICs helped me get an interview through UMAT for a variety of reasons.

Firstly it familiarised me with the content of UMAT, so when I actually did the exam I wasn't shocked or overwhelmed by its content, and actually felt comfortable with knowing what was to come lessened my nerves a lot too!

SUPERPREP helped also especially with section 2, as it gave me almost a perfect fomula for the correct answers, helping me to work through it more quickly and effectively lastly the computer programme for section 3 was SO HELPFUL.

What I thought would be the hardest section was actually the easiest, because the programme trained my eye to pickout the shapes with ease. 

Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC provided me with invaluable assistance for the UMAT.

Dallas' software program, offering hundreds of spatial puzzles for section three of the UMAT, was particularly useful in helping me quickly identify the hidden shapes.

I anticipated that this would be the most difficult section of the exam but, thanks to the UMAT SUPERPREP CLINIC, I found it the easiest.

His advice for sections one and two of UMAT were also useful, letting me know what to expect and helping me to consistently identify the best answer.

I have recieived an offer of an interview for medicine at UNSW and I doubt that this would have been possible without the UMAT SUPERPREP CLINIC. 

The high intensity of the training coupled with the new technique of reading really helped me to complete the UMAT test.

With the faster approach to reading and the daily scanning of the newspapers, I was able to increase my reading rate and complete the first and second sections well.

Also, the comprehensions with the time limits helped. In addition, the online puzzles were a great aid. Before doing those practice puzzles, I actually couldn't even recognise the shapes in the UMAT information booklet.

With all this preparation together with the 2 day seminar, I was able to do well in the UMAT and consequently be offered an interview at University of Adelaide.

I found the SUPERPREP CLINIC very rewarding because it gave me important insight into what markers were looking for in the question and it gave me good practice for section 3 of the UMAT. 

I found the materials extremely useful although I was told misleadingly by a number of people prior to sitting the UMAT that there was no advantage to be gained by doing practice tests, however, having been through it, the materials provided helped me a great deal. 

ICARUS College UMAT SUPERPREP Clinics have to be experienced to be believed! Their training is unique as is their support.

The valuable material given for section 1 identified the exact technique skills candidates were require to use in this section, the hints and practice prepared me very well for a section I found difficult.

Discussions of questions for section 2 in the test were extremely helpful as they aimed to develop the way one should think in such scenarios. I don't know where else they teach this! 

The work for section 3 was by far the most helpful as it really trains and forces you to find the proverbial needle in the haystack.

By attending the SUPERPREP CLINICS I was generally much more confident because the UMAT test questions were no new in the sense that I had develop means to tackle these questions before.

I think confidence was a crucial factor that day.

To me it has been extremely obvious that Dallas' SUPERPREP CLINIC has helped me perform better in this year's UMAT and in doing so receiving an offer from UNSW for an interview. 

Last year I sat the UMAT, performing incredibly badly in section 2. The instant improvement this year came from Dallas' advice on how to approach this section.

It was an interesting and interactive course that puts you in the correct mindset so that you can succeed. UMAT preparation material is excellent as is the workshop. I received a 280 UMAT percentile total and was offered a place by UNSW, Monash and Griffith.

Dallas' course is not for the faint hearted, but it is one for those of us who are truly serious about getting into Medicine.  Dallas is rude, pushy, in your face and frequently obnoxious but always passionate.  However, he knows his stuff inside out and gets the message through loud and clear.Ironically, I believe he cares more about  his students getting in than  they  do. 
 
When I decided to apply for medicine I knew I would need help with UMAT.  What I didn't realise was the UMAT was only part of the equation, and in the case of Newcastle, the minor part of the equation.  The interview process is vitally important - more than I would have ever believed - and it was with Dallas' help that I performed outstandingly.  I think I was the most well prepared for anything that I have ever done as I was with that interview.  As a result I was offered a main round place at Newcastle and with a combined UMAT percentile score of only 229!
 
I can highly recommend an ICARUS course with weekend seminar. Despite how boring some of the reading exercises seemed, I did them religiously as prescribed and they worked!  The weekend seminar was invaluable in terms of both UMAT and interview preparation.  I took Dallas' interview guidelines as gospel and followed them to the letter.  I felt sorry for the poor 18 year-olds I was sitting with while waiting to be interviewed - they had absolutely no idea.  I came out buzzing from the interview and they were completely deflated. 
 
You gotta do Dallas' course if you are serious.  If you're not, don't bother, it only makes Dallas that bit richer.
